Since being ‘discovered’ in 1999 by the Dropkick Murphys mainman Ken Casey who released their first album ‘They Came, They Saw, They Conquered’ Beerzone have played over 400 gigs and toured the USA 10 times.
Always highly popular in the USA, their second album ‘Strangle All The Boybands’ was released in 2001 on the American label Cyclone Records and their third album also came out on the American Beer City label in 2004. Their early career was compiled by Captain Oi! and reissued as ‘British Streetpunk’.
After a relatively quite period by Beerzone’s standards the boys are back with a new line-up, an album ‘Kingdom Of The Dead’ to be released this summer and over 40 gigs booked including appearances at all the major UK punk festivals (Rebellion/Wasted, Concrete Jungle and Speedfreaks Ball) as well as headlining the East Coast Oi! Festival in Pennsylvania, USA on May 26th and an all day punk bash in Cagliari, Sicily on May 19th.
